We’ll be continuing work on the garden perimeter by laying down cardboard as a weed barrier and covering it with mulch, as well as spreading dolomite around the greenhouse and compost area.

At this Thursday's work day, we're hoping to have a tractor on site to help move and spread topsoil. If the tractor isn't available, we'll be shoveling and wheelbarrowing the topsoil by hand to get it into place.

We'll also be working on the garden perimeter by laying down cardboard as a weed barrier and covering it with mulch, as well as spreading dolomite around the greenhouse and compost area.

We will be spreading 30 yards of top soil around the garden!

We will be prepping to add the edging around the perimeter of the garden, including adding soil to those areas.

Please bring brown, de-labeled, de-taped cardboard with you if you have extra at home! We will be laying down cardboard as a weed suppression layer.

We'll be receiving an additional delivery of dolomite that needs to be spread throughout the garden, and we'd love your help! Bring gloves, a water bottle, a shovel, and a wheelbarrow if you have one. Stop by whenever you're available and stay for as little or as long as you'd like, many hands make light work.

Join us as we spread 25 yards of topsoil throughout the center of the community garden! Bring gloves, a water bottle, a shovel, and a wheelbarrow if you have one. Drop in whenever you can and stay as long as you're able, every bit of help moves us closer to creating a thriving community space.

We're receiving several major deliveries at the garden this week, including 30 yards of dolomite and 30 yards of sand! During this work day, we'll be leveling the site with sand, laying geotextile fabric, and spreading the dolomite to create the foundation for our future pathways. This is one of the biggest steps yet in transforming the space, and we'll need plenty of helping hands to make it happen. Join us and help build the future of the garden!

Join us for our first official work day of the season! We’ll be removing sod and moving dirt as we continue building the garden. Please bring: work gloves, a water bottle, and a shovel/wheelbarrow/buckets (if you have them).

No experience required! No need to stay for the full time, feel free to come for as long as you are able to. We’ll provide cold beverages and a tent to cool off in for volunteers.
